Photo mats, window mats, or window mounts, are most often simply called ‘mats’. So far as picture frames or photo frames are concerned, mats are those coloured cardboard ‘cards ‘, ‘borders’ , ‘surrounds’ or ‘edges’ , that separate, highlight and go on top of the a print, photo or document is framed.  Below is a range of Acid-Free, inexpensive, pre-cut, Australian-made, photo mats and matboards to suit most common size photo and picture frames. Our production mats are sold in packs of 6, of the four most popular colours, Cool White, Warm White, Cream and Black. Other mat colours, or other custom colours are unavailable as production mats but may be available for custom picture frames and custom picture framing. Please note that we do not advertise, sell, supply or cut, one-off, special size, custom mats.
